We’ve crafted sofas for some fairly impressive brands over the years, but never before have we been asked about crafting a gold Rockingham… WHAT AN OUTCOME! This Rockingham Chippendale themed sofa was crafted for popular TV personality Alan Carr for the eleventh series of his Channel 4 talk show, Chatty Man.

The show featured several high profile celebrities, including comedian Lee Evans, actress Keeley Hawes, the Rizzlekicks and X-Factor judge, Sharon Osbourne – many of which had their own adoring comments as they clapped their eyes on Chatty Man’s masterpiece.

The sofa had a fully loose coil spring seat and ball and claw legs which complimented the vibrant gold leather and that classic Chippendale humped back. The splayed arms with a detailed swan neck is very classy and glamorous and it’s fair to say that the sofa had great impact and character, rather like Chatty Man himself!
