ANTIQUE CHESTERFIELD SOFA, 19TH CENTURY
We are very fortunate to have a matching frame to this piece therefore are offering it to be fully restored in the leathers (or fabric) of your choice.
This superb, fully restored 19th Century, Antique Chesterfield sofa at a very generous 90” Ling x 36/37” deep.
With so much of the pieces original character this piece is a superb example of traditional crafting at it finest.
Restored with its age in mind, the piece has been upholstered with horse hair.
In keeping with the tradition of this antique chesterfield sofa.
This is layered onto its, hand tied, loose coil sprung seat, back and arm to make the piece extremely comfortable!
We then upholster in the finest raw russet leather before hand dying to create a wonderful patina and depth to the colour of this piece!
The piece has been hand dyed in a wonderful Deep Orchid, making this a true statement piece!
