This original hand crafted sofa was typical of the late 19thC. Likely to have been hand crafted for a wealthy aristocrat, the sofa is made from a solid beechwood frame, fully hand tacked, loose coil sprung throughout and filled with loose horse hair. These crfting priciples inspired our Signature range, but here we have an original piece awaiting restoration of your choice.

The sofa is a great size and depth, meaning there’s plenty of room to spread out on, whilst the original floating button in the back adds some lovely vintage characteristic.

We could easily restore this piece fully buttoned or with duck feather and down cushions if you prefer – just let us know.
